Doodler is a collaborative drawing canvas for iOS. You can draw stuff on the screen, and it will show up on your friend's device!

To make it, we will use Cocos2d-x, a C++ game framework. We'll also make use of Apple's Multipeer Connectivity framework to connect two devices together.

Topics Covered in this Tutorial

During this tutorial you will learn:

  • How to make a Cocos2d-x project from the command-line tool
  • How to draw on the screen with a DrawNode
  • How to make a C++ singleton
  • How to synchronize the state of two devices in real-time
  • How to create JSON messages

And much, much more!
