In collaboration with Hack Club, Make School is hosting a 3-day leadership summit for high school students with an interest in learning how to inspire and teach others to code.

Who is the summit for?

The goal of the summit is to support and empower high schoolers who are currently leading or hoping to launch a student CS club at their school or other youth-group space.

What will the summit include?

Leadership training and support to help you start or run a coding club in your local area:

  • club leadership workshops
  • coding workshops (all levels welcome!)
  • guest speakers
  • social activities to better get to know your peers

What is the cost of attending the summit?

The summit is entirely free to attend with some meals included. In addition, Make School will be providing some travel reimbursement and/or free lodging to qualifying applicants. More details coming soon.

When is the summit happening?

Friday July 12th - Sunday July 14th, 2019

Where is the summit?

The summit will be held at Make School: 555 Post St, San Francisco, CA.

Those who qualify for free lodging will stay at one of the nearby hostels within walking distance of Make School.
